Hi, I’m David

Dave has spent the past 20 years predominantly farming sheep, beef and deer across Canterbury and Otago, after completing a Diploma in Farm Management. In the past seven years, he has adjusted his focus into a more regenerative approach to farming and land management. He is highly competent in all things stock, machinery, fencing, project management and farm systems design.

In this time he has also managed and prepared a cropping farm for sale, managed a 6,500ha regeneration project on a high country station in Hawea, and managed a unique project in Glenorchy for a Chinese family. Here is where pest control, building and fencing were the core focus as the aim was to let 90% of the property regenerate into native beech forest, and used 10% to investigate multiple high value, low volume crops, organically, for human health.

After finishing the development of a 50ha cherry orchard, Dave bought a 1.7T digger, has been learning historic stonemasonry from a local mason and has been installing solar panel arrays with his partnership company, Solayer.

With a lifetime of skills under his belt and a perfectionist mindset, it’s time to help other land owners realise their potential and bring their dreams to life (with his trusty level in-hand)
